If you are traveling by car within Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, start by heading towards the southern entrance of the sanctuary. Follow the main road that leads into the sanctuary. Continue on this road, which is well-marked. You will drive through the lush surroundings typical of this area. Look for signs indicating the route to Cockscomb Basin Nature Reserve. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto the road that leads to Locust Bank. The Cockscomb Basin Nature Reserve is approximately 10 minutes from the intersection. The final destination will be on your left, marked by a sign. There are no entrance fees for visiting the reserve.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus or shuttle service to the nearest town, which is Dangriga. Once in Dangriga, you can find local shuttle services that go to Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Inform the driver that you want to be dropped off at the entrance of the sanctuary. After you arrive at the sanctuary entrance, you will need to walk or hitch a ride to the Cockscomb Basin Nature Reserve, which is located about 4 miles inside the sanctuary. It is advisable to check with the shuttle service about the timings as they may vary. There may be a small fee for the shuttle ride, typically around $5-10 USD.
