Car
If you are driving from the main entrance of Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, head south on the main road towards Maya Centre. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers (about 6 miles) until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the White House Cabin. Turn right onto the road marked QHR4+CXV. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers (about 1.2 miles) until you see the White House Cabin on your left. Make sure you have some cash on hand for potential entrance fees to the sanctuary.

To reach White House Cabin via public transport, you can take a local bus from the nearest town, Dangriga. Board a bus heading towards Maya Centre. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Maya Centre, you can either walk or hire a taxi to take you the remaining 2 kilometers (about 1.2 miles) to White House Cabin. Make sure to confirm the taxi fare before starting your journey to avoid misunderstandings.

If you are already near the main entrance of Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, you can walk to White House Cabin. From the entrance, head south along the main road towards Maya Centre. It is approximately a 12-kilometer (about 7.5 miles) walk, which should take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Follow the same route as the cars and pay attention to road signs. Ensure you have enough water and sun protection for the journey.
