    If you're driving from Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, exit the sanctuary and head north on the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway) towards the junction. Continue until you reach the junction with the George Price Highway (also known as the Western Highway). Turn right onto the George Price Highway and drive approximately 29 miles. The Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center is located on the left side of the highway at Mile 29 in La Democracia. Look for the signs indicating the zoo's entrance. There is usually a small parking fee, so be prepared for that.
