Car
From Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, start by heading south on the main road out of the sanctuary. Continue driving for approximately 10 miles (16 km) until you reach the junction with the Northern Highway (Hummingbird Highway). Turn right onto the Northern Highway and drive for another 5 miles (8 km). You will see signs for Bocotora. Turn left onto the road leading to Bocotora. Follow this road for about 3 miles (5 km), and you will arrive at the Crystal Caves, located at the coordinates 5GQ2+XW5, Bocotora.
Public Transportation
To reach Crystal Caves via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Crooked Tree to Belize City. Buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive in Belize City, transfer to a bus heading towards Orange Walk. Inform the bus driver you want to stop at Bocotora. The bus will drop you off near the Bocotora road. From there, you can either walk approximately 3 miles (5 km) to the Crystal Caves or negotiate with a local taxi for a ride, which may cost around $10-15 BZD.
