From Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, head south on the main road towards the village exit. Follow the signs leading to the George Price Highway. Once you reach the highway, turn left (towards Belmopan) and continue driving. After approximately 31.5 miles, you will see a sign for Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary on your right. Look for the entrance and follow the road into the sanctuary. Please note that car rentals are available in Crooked Tree, and expect to pay around $50-70 BZD per day.

To reach Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary by public transportation, start from Crooked Tree and take a local bus heading towards Belize City. You will need to alight at the junction with the George Price Highway. This bus ride costs approximately $5 BZD. Once you get off, cross the highway carefully and wait for a bus heading towards Belmopan. After about 30-40 minutes, tell the driver you want to get off at Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. The bus fare is around $7 BZD. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to the sanctuary entrance, which will be marked.
