Car
If you're driving from Belize City, take the Southern Highway (Hwy 1) towards Dangriga. Continue on this highway for about 2 hours until you reach Dangriga. From Dangriga, follow the signs to Hopkins, which is about a 30-minute drive along the coast. Once in Hopkins, turn onto Sitee River Road and drive until you reach 25 Sitee River Road, where Thatch Caye Tropical Island Experience is located. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Thatch Caye via public transportation, take a bus from Belize City to Dangriga. Buses leave regularly from the Belize City bus terminal and the journey takes around 2 hours. Once in Dangriga, take a local taxi or catch another bus to Hopkins, which will take about 30 minutes. In Hopkins, ask the driver to drop you off at 25 Sitee River Road, where Thatch Caye is located. Be prepared to pay for the bus fare (approximately $10 BZD) and the taxi or bus fare to Hopkins (around $10 BZD).
