Car
From Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, head south on the main road towards San Ignacio. Continue on this road until you reach the junction at the George Price Highway (about 25-30 minutes). At the junction, turn right onto the George Price Highway. Drive for approximately 30 minutes, passing through the towns of Teakettle and La Democracia. The Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center will be located on your right at Mile 29 George Price Highway.

To reach The Belize Zoo using public transportation, first, take a local bus from Mountain Pine Ridge to San Ignacio. The buses are typically found near the central area of the forest reserve. Once in San Ignacio, transfer to a bus heading towards Belize City. Inform the bus driver of your destination (The Belize Zoo), and they will drop you off at Mile 29 on the George Price Highway. The zoo is a short walk from the bus stop.
