Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the Belizean Highway (also known as the Western Highway). Turn right onto the highway. After approximately 2.5 miles, look for a turnoff to the left marked with signs for Santa Maria Pool. The road may be unpaved and bumpy, so drive carefully. Follow this road for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area near Santa Maria Pool. Be prepared for possible fees for parking, which may vary.

For those relying on public transportation, you can take a bus from San Ignacio to Mountain Pine Ridge. Once you reach Mountain Pine Ridge, you will need to hire a taxi or a local guide to take you to Santa Maria Pool. Make sure to negotiate a fare beforehand, as this will be a short trip.
