Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the center of Mountain Pine Ridge, head south on the main road until you reach the intersection with the Hummingbird Highway. Turn left (east) onto the Hummingbird Highway and continue for approximately 8 miles (13 km). Look for signs toward Roaring Creek. Take a right turn onto Roaring River Drive and continue for about 1 mile (1.6 km). Belize Bird Rescue will be on your left side. Ensure to keep an eye out for the location sign.

    To reach Belize Bird Rescue via public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Mountain Pine Ridge to the nearest bus stop on the Hummingbird Highway. Buses run frequently, and the fare is usually around $5 BZD.
