If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Mountain Pine Ridge, head south on the main road towards the junction for the Hummingbird Highway (also known as the Southern Highway). Continue straight until you reach the junction, then take a left onto the Hummingbird Highway. After approximately 7 miles, you will see signs for Barton Creek Cave Reserve. Turn left onto the road leading to the Reserve, which will take you directly to the entrance. Note that the road can be bumpy, so drive carefully.

To reach Barton Creek Cave Reserve via public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop in Mountain Pine Ridge and take a bus heading towards San Ignacio.
