Car
If you are driving from San Ignacio, head towards the Mountain Pine Ridge area. Take the George Price Highway (Western Highway) west from San Ignacio. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the junction where you can turn onto the Mountain Pine Ridge Road. Follow this road for approximately 12 miles (about 30 minutes), keeping an eye out for signs. The Belize Raptor Center is located on your left side. Look for a sign indicating the entrance to the center.
Public Transportation
To reach the Belize Raptor Center via public transport, start by taking a local bus from San Ignacio to the Mountain Pine Ridge area. Buses leave from the main bus terminal in San Ignacio. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Belize Raptor Center or ask them to drop you off at the nearest point. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, you may need to walk a short distance along the Mountain Pine Ridge Road towards the center. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Belize Raptor Center.

If you are staying in a nearby lodge or accommodation within the Mountain Pine Ridge area, consider walking to the Belize Raptor Center. Depending on your location, it could be a pleasant 30-60 minute hike. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the terrain can be uneven and the weather warm.
