After approximately 10 to 15 minutes, you will reach a junction. Take the left fork which leads into the reserve. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach a marked entrance for Big Rock Falls. There is usually a small fee for parking, which can range from $5 to $10 BZD. Once parked, follow the trail signs that will lead you to the falls. The walk is about 15 minutes through beautiful tropical scenery.
Public Transportation
To reach Big Rock Falls by public transportation, first take a local bus from the main bus terminal in San Ignacio to Mountain Pine Ridge. Buses run frequently and cost about $5 BZD. Once you arrive in Mountain Pine Ridge, you may need to hire a local taxi or a shuttle service to take you to Big Rock Falls. This ride will take about 30 minutes and typically costs around $20 to $30 BZD. Ensure to arrange for the taxi to return to pick you up after your visit, as public transport may not run frequently in that area.
Hiking
