Car
If you are driving, start by getting onto the Mountain Pine Ridge Road from your location in the Mountain Pine Ridge area. Follow the road until you reach the junction with the George Price Highway (Hummingbird Highway). Take a right turn onto the George Price Highway and continue for about 10 miles until you reach San Ignacio. In San Ignacio, look for the signs leading to Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve. Turn left onto W. Ford Young Drive, and you will find the entrance to the reserve on your right. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve using public transportation, you can take a local bus or shuttle from Mountain Pine Ridge to San Ignacio. Buses typically leave from designated bus stops in Mountain Pine Ridge. Once you arrive in San Ignacio, you can either walk or take a taxi to W. Ford Young Drive. If walking, head west on Burns Avenue, then turn left onto W. Ford Young Drive. The entrance to Cahal Pech will be on your right. Expect to pay a small fare for the bus ride, typically around BZD 5-10.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Mountain Pine Ridge to Cahal Pech. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually costs between BZD 25-50 depending on your exact location and the driver. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance on W. Ford Young Drive in San Ignacio.
