Car
From Mountain Pine Ridge, get onto the George Price Highway (Hwy 1) heading towards Belmopan. The drive is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Follow the signs for Belmopan, and you'll see a turnoff for Guanacaste National Park just before Belmopan. Turn onto the road leading to the park entrance. There may be a small entrance fee to access the park, so be prepared for that.

Take a local bus from Mountain Pine Ridge to Belmopan. Buses typically leave from the main road and run frequently throughout the day. The bus journey will take about 1 hour. Once in Belmopan, you can catch a taxi or a local shuttle to the park entrance. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to Guanacaste National Park as they may be familiar with the route. Expect to pay a small fee for the taxi or shuttle, in addition to the park entrance fee.
