Continue on this road for approximately 5 miles (8 km) until you reach the junction with the Hummingbird Highway (also known as the Southern Highway). Turn left onto the Hummingbird Highway and drive for about 4 miles (6.4 km). You will see signs for St. Herman's Cave on your right. The entrance to the cave is located at 48V6+H56, Caves Branch. There is a parking area available for visitors.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from San Ignacio to Belmopan or Dangriga. Buses frequently depart from the San Ignacio bus terminal. Once you arrive at the Hummingbird Highway, ask the driver to drop you off at the St. Herman's Cave stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 0.5 miles or 800 meters) to the entrance of the cave.
