Car
From Sarteneja, head south on the main road towards the Corozal Town. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at the George Price Highway (Hwy 1). Turn left onto George Price Highway. Follow the highway for about 50 kilometers. Keep an eye out for Mile 29, where The Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center is located on the right side of the highway. The entrance is well marked, so look for the signage.

Public Transportation
Start from Sarteneja and take a local bus or taxi to Corozal Town. This journey will take around 30-40 minutes and should cost about BZD 10-15. Once in Corozal Town, transfer to a bus that heads towards Belize City. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Belize Zoo, which is located at Mile 29 on the George Price Highway. The bus fare to the zoo should be around BZD 10. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they can vary.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Sarteneja to The Belize Zoo. This will be a more expensive option, costing approximately BZD 150-200. The taxi driver will take you directly to the entrance of the zoo, which is located at Mile 29 on the George Price Highway. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
