Car
If you're driving from Southern Belize, the most common route to Belize City is via the Southern Highway. Start by heading north on the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway) from your location in Southern Belize. Continue on the Southern Highway until you reach the junction for the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as the Northern Highway). Turn left onto the Philip Goldson Highway and continue towards Belize City. As you approach Belize City, follow signs for the downtown area. Once in downtown, look for Regent Street; the Belize Tourism Board is located on Regent Street, just a few blocks from the waterfront.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach the Belize Tourism Board via public transportation, head to the nearest bus terminal in Southern Belize, such as the one in Dangriga. Look for buses heading to Belize City; these are typically labeled as 'Belize City' or 'Belize City via Southern Highway'. The bus ride will take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on stops along the way. Once you arrive at the Belize City bus terminal, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Regent Street. If walking, head east from the bus terminal, then turn left onto Regent Street. The Belize Tourism Board will be on your right-hand side.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from your location in Southern Belize to take you to the Belize Tourism Board in Belize City. This option is more expensive than public transportation but will take you directly to your destination without stops. Make sure to negotiate the fare before you start the trip. Expect to pay between $100 to $150 BZD for the ride, depending on your starting point. The driver will take you via the Southern Highway to Belize City, and you can provide them with the address on Regent Street.
