Car
If you are driving from the town of Orange Walk, head south on the Northern Highway (Hwy 45) for approximately 12 miles. Look for signs directing you to the Lamanai Archaeological Reserve. You will need to turn off the highway onto a dirt road at the sign for 'Lamanai'. Continue on this road for about 5 miles until you reach a parking area.

To reach Lamanai by public transportation, take a bus or shuttle from Orange Walk to the town of Belize City. From there, take a bus or shuttle to the village of San Pedro. Once in San Pedro, you can find a local boat service that will take you to the Lamanai Archaeological Reserve. Note that the boat ride typically costs around $50 BZD per person and lasts approximately 30-45 minutes.
