Getting There
Car
If you are driving from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, take a ferry to the mainland, landing in Belize City. From Belize City, head onto the George Price Highway (also known as the Western Highway) towards Belmopan. After reaching Belmopan, switch to the Hummingbird Highway (also known as the Southern Highway) and continue driving until you reach Mile #30. Look for signs for H'Ohm Jungle Retreat, which will be on your left. The drive takes about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.
Public Transportation
From San Pedro, take a ferry to Belize City. At the ferry terminal, find the bus station (it is within walking distance). Take a bus heading to Belmopan, which costs around BZD 10-15. In Belmopan, transfer to a bus that goes to Dangriga, and request to be dropped at Mile #30 on the Hummingbird Highway. The total travel time by bus will take approximately 3 to 4 hours, including transfers.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route and are willing to spend more, you can hire a taxi from Belize City directly to H'Ohm Jungle Retreat. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which can range from BZD 100 to BZD 150. This option will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
