If you are driving from the Cayes, take a ferry from Ambergris Caye or Caye Caulker to Belize City. The ferry terminal is located at the southern tip of the Cayes. The ferry ride takes approximately 1-1.5 hours and costs around $25 USD one way. Once you arrive at the Belize City terminal, head west on Barrack Road for about 1 mile until you reach the Swing Bridge, which is a well-known landmark.
Public Transportation
To reach the Swing Bridge via public transportation, board a ferry from either Ambergris Caye or Caye Caulker to Belize City. The ferry ride will cost you around $25 USD and takes about 1-1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Belize City, you can take a local bus or taxi to the Swing Bridge. If you choose to take a bus, head to the main bus terminal and catch a bus heading towards the city center. The Swing Bridge is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. Alternatively, a taxi from the ferry terminal to the Swing Bridge will cost about $10 USD.
