Car
If you are driving from other parts of The Cayes, head towards the mainland by taking a water taxi from your location. Water taxis operate frequently between the islands, with the most common routes being from San Pedro or Caye Caulker to the mainland city of Belize City. Once you arrive at Belize City, follow the signs to the Southern Highway. Drive south for approximately 2 hours until you reach the town of Hopkins. As you enter Hopkins, look for Sittee River Road on your right. Turn onto Sittee River Road, and continue straight until you see Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort on your left.
Public Transport (Water Taxi + Bus)
Start by taking a water taxi from your current location in The Cayes to Belize City. Water taxis can be booked at the docks, and the fare typically ranges from $20 to $30 USD, depending on your departure point. Once you arrive at Belize City, head to the bus terminal located close to the water taxi terminal. Look for buses heading to Dangriga or Hopkins. The bus ride will cost around $10 USD and takes approximately 2 hours. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Hopkins. Upon arriving in Hopkins, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride (around $5 to $10 USD) to Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort, which is located along Sittee River Road.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in The Cayes to Belize City and then combine it with a water taxi. Taxi fares from San Pedro or Caye Caulker to Belize City can range from $50 to $100 USD. Once you arrive in Belize City, you will take a water taxi to your chosen destination in The Cayes, then follow the previous instructions for water taxi and bus to reach Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort.
