If you're driving to Secret Beach from San Pedro, head west on the main road (Ambergris Street) until you reach the split at the end of the town. Keep straight to stay on the road that leads to the north side of the island. After about 5 miles (approximately 15-20 minutes), you will see signs directing you to Secret Beach. Turn left onto a dirt road, which will take you directly to Secret Beach. Be cautious as the road can be bumpy; a 4WD vehicle is recommended but not necessary. Parking is available near the beach, but there may be a small fee.

Golf Cart Rental

If you prefer a more leisurely mode of transport, consider renting a golf cart in San Pedro. Most rental agencies are located along the main street. After renting, follow the same route as if you were driving: head west on Ambergris Street, continue past the split, and follow the signs to Secret Beach. The trip should take about 30 minutes. Public Water Taxi

For those who wish to avoid land travel, you can take a water taxi from San Pedro to a nearby dock and then hire a local taxi or golf cart to take you the remaining distance to Secret Beach.
