After approximately 20 miles, take the exit for the George Price Highway (Hwy 2) heading west towards San Ignacio. Continue on Hwy 2 for about 30 miles until you reach San Ignacio. At San Ignacio, you can stock up on supplies and fuel up. From San Ignacio, take the road towards the town of Santa Elena, then follow signs for the road to the Chiquibul National Park entrance. The park entrance is approximately 16 miles from San Ignacio. Be prepared for some rough terrain as the last stretch of the road is unpaved.
