If you are driving, start your journey from Vaca Plateau and head towards the George Price Highway. Follow the signs for the George Price Highway (Hwy 1) heading west. Continue for approximately 7 miles until you reach 43 1/2 Miles on the highway. Heris Nature Park will be located on the right side. Look for the entrance sign; there is no entrance fee required, but donations are appreciated.

To reach Heris Nature Park by public transportation, you can take a local bus from Vaca Plateau heading towards Belmopan. Inform the driver that you want to stop at 43 1/2 Miles George Price Highway. The bus fare is usually around BZ$2-3. After disembarking, walk approximately 0.5 miles along the highway to find the entrance to Heris Nature Park on the right side. Be cautious while walking along the highway.
