Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in the Fidjrosse neighborhood, the best way to reach Fidjrosse Beach is to walk. Start at the main road, Avenue Jean-Paul II. Head towards the coastline; you will see signs pointing towards the beach. Keep walking straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the beach entrance near the end of the road.

• Bicycle

  For a quicker option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops. Once you have a bike, ride south on Avenue Jean-Paul II. Follow the road that leads directly to the beach. The journey should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on your speed. Make sure to park your bike in a safe area when you arrive.

• Motorbike Taxi (Zémidjan)

  You can also take a motorbike taxi, known locally as Zémidjan. Just flag one down on the street and tell the driver you want to go to Fidjrosse Beach. This ride will take approximately 5 minutes and will cost around 500-1000 CFA francs, depending on your negotiation skills. Ensure you wear a helmet for safety.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer public transport, there are buses that run through Fidjrosse. Look for buses heading towards the coastal area. Ask the bus driver or locals to confirm that the bus goes to Fidjrosse Beach. The bus fare is typically around 200 CFA francs. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, it will be a short walk to the beach entrance.
