From your location in Fidjrosse, head towards Avenue Jean-Paul II. If you're unsure of the direction, ask a local for guidance. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de L’Aeroport. Turn left onto Rue de L’Aeroport. Keep walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the Place du Souvenir, ex Place des Martyrs which will be on your right. Look for the prominent statue and memorial structure, which is a historical landmark in the area.

Bicycle Taxi (Zemidjan)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a Zemidjan, which is a motorcycle taxi commonly used in Cotonou. To do this, simply signal a Zemidjan by waving your hand. Negotiate the fare before getting on; it should cost around 500-1000 CFA depending on your starting point in Fidjrosse. Once you’re on, instruct the driver to take you to Place du Souvenir, ex Place des Martyrs. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

For a more economical transportation method, you can take a public bus. Locate the nearest bus stop in Fidjrosse and find a bus heading towards the city center or Haie Vive. The fare is typically around 150 CFA. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you want to get off at the stop for Place du Souvenir, ex Place des Martyrs.
