If you are already in Gbegamey, start by heading south towards Avenue Jean-Paul II. Once you reach the intersection with Avenue Jean-Paul II, turn left and continue walking straight for about 1 km. You will pass local shops and cafes along the way. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction with Rte De L'Aeroport. The Place du Souvenir, ex Place des Martyrs will be on your right. Look for the large statues and the open area, which are hard to miss.

Motorbike Taxi (Zémidjan)
For a quicker route, you can take a motorbike taxi, known locally as a Zémidjan. To do this, find a Zémidjan driver in Gbegamey and inform them that you want to go to Place du Souvenir, ex Place des Martyrs. The cost for this ride is typically around 500-1000 CFA depending on your starting point and negotiation skills. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet, which is usually provided.

After obtaining a bicycle, head southeast towards Avenue Jean-Paul II, then turn left and proceed straight towards Rte De L'Aeroport.
