Getting There

Walking
From the center of Lokossa (place yourself at the main market area), head west towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Paix. Turn left onto Rue de la Paix and continue for another 500 meters until you reach the bus station. Here, you can catch a local bus heading to Cotonou. The bus fare is around 500 CFA. Ensure to tell the driver your destination is 'Route des Peches'.

Once you arrive at the bus station, wait for a bus heading towards Cotonou. The journey should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. After arriving in Cotonou, disembark at the main bus terminal. From the terminal, you can either take a motorcycle taxi (known locally as 'zemidjan') or you can continue by foot.

If you choose to take a zemidjan from the Cotonou bus terminal, negotiate the fare before getting on. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Route des Peches' or show them the address: 89X7+QXX, Unnamed Road. The ride should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic.
