If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Lhuentse. Drive on the Lhuentse - Trashigang highway (NH 2). After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach a sign indicating Dungkar. Take the left turn and follow the narrow road for about 15 km, which will lead you directly to Dungkar Nagtshang. Please note that the roads can be winding and narrow, so drive carefully.

Public Transportation
To reach Dungkar Nagtshang using public transportation, first take a bus from Lhuentse to Dungkar. Buses depart regularly from Lhuentse bus station and the fare is approximately 50 Nu. The journey takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Dungkar village, you can either walk or hire a local taxi (costing around 200 Nu) to take you to Dungkar Nagtshang, which is about 5 km from the village.
