Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car from Phuentsholing, head north on the Bhutan-India Highway (NH 8). Continue for about 24 kilometers until you reach the junction for Takchu. Turn left at the junction and follow the road signs towards Takchu. Lhakhang Nagpo is located about 5 kilometers from the junction, and you should be able to find parking nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Lhakhang Nagpo by public transport, take a bus from Phuentsholing to Chhukha. Buses run regularly and the fare is approximately 50 Nu. Once you arrive in Chhukha, you can hire a local taxi or take a shared taxi to Takchu, which will cost around 200 Nu. The taxi will drop you off near the temple, and from there it is a short walk to Lhakhang Nagpo.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Takchu, you can walk to Lhakhang Nagpo. From the center of Takchu, head east along the main road for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs leading to the temple, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. The walk should take around 30 minutes.
