Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong), exit the Dzong and head south towards the main street (Yangkhil Lam). Walk along this road for about 1 km until you reach the junction with the National Highway 2. Turn left onto National Highway 2 and walk for another 1.5 km. You should see Kyichu Lhakhang on your right. The temple is easily recognizable by its traditional Bhutanese architecture.

From the Paro Airport, exit the airport and head northeast on the dirt road towards the main road. Once you reach the main road (National Highway 2), turn left and walk for about 2.5 km. After passing the Hotel Zhiwa Ling on your left, continue walking straight, and you will see Kyichu Lhakhang on your left side after about 500 meters.

If you are at the Paro Town Market, head southeast towards the main road. Cross the bridge over the river and continue straight on the National Highway 2. Walk for about 1.2 km, and after passing several shops and small eateries, you will find Kyichu Lhakhang on your left. Look for its distinctive roof and colorful prayer flags.
