From Gasa, head south on the main road that leads to Punakha. Drive approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Dzongdrakha Monastery. Look for a sign indicating the monastery's direction. Turn left and follow the winding road for about 5 km until you arrive at the monastery parking area. Make sure to drive carefully as the road can be narrow and steep.

Catch a local bus from Gasa heading towards Punakha. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Dzongdrakha turn-off. This journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on road conditions. Once you get off at the junction, you can either walk the remaining 5 km to the monastery or try to hitch a ride with passing vehicles. The walk will take approximately 1 hour, and the path can be steep, so wear comfortable shoes.
