Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Chhukha. Head southeast on the main road (NH 8) towards the town of Phuentsholing. After approximately 10 km, look for a sign directing you to Alla. Turn onto the road leading to Alla and continue for about 15 km. As you approach Alla, keep an eye out for the coordinates 9V8X+QF, which is the location of Chhu Botorisha. You may need to use a GPS navigation system to precisely locate the destination as it is close to the outskirts of Alla.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Chhukha to Phuentsholing. Buses depart frequently from the main bus station in Chhukha and the fare is around 50 Nu. Upon reaching Phuentsholing, transfer to a local bus heading towards Alla, which will cost an additional 30 Nu. Once you arrive in Alla, you may need to hire a taxi to reach Chhu Botorisha, which should cost around 100 Nu. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Chhukha District. Taxis are available throughout the district, and you can negotiate the fare based on your destination. Expect to pay approximately 400 Nu for a taxi ride to Chhu Botorisha from central Chhukha. Ensure that the taxi driver is familiar with the location by providing them with the coordinates 9V8X+QF, which will help them navigate directly to the site.
