Getting there

Car

From Dagana, head northeast on the main road towards Tsirang. After approximately 25 km, turn onto the road leading to Dzongdrakha. Continue driving for about 10 km, following signs for Dzongdrakha Monastery. The last part of the journey will involve a steep ascent, so drive carefully. You will reach the parking area near the base of the monastery. Note that there may be a small parking fee that varies depending on the season.

Public Transportation

Catch a local bus from the Dagana bus terminal heading towards Tsirang. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule upon arrival. After about 25 km, get off at the nearest stop for Dzongdrakha. From there, you will need to hire a taxi or a local vehicle to cover the remaining 10 km to the monastery. Expect to pay a small fee for the taxi, typically around 200-300 Ngultrum.

Hiking

If you're feeling adventurous, you can also hike from the parking area to Dzongdrakha Monastery. The hike is steep and can take about 30-45 minutes, depending on your fitness level.
