Car
To reach Narphung from Gasa by car, start your journey by heading south on the Gasa-Thimphu highway. Drive approximately 70 kilometers towards Thimphu, which should take around 2 hours. Keep an eye out for the CMM2+J83 location as you enter the Babesa area of Thimphu. Once you reach the coordinates (27.4340125, 89.6507952), you will find yourself at Narphung, a historical landmark. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel before departing as there are limited refueling options along the route.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or a bus from Gasa to Thimphu. The shared taxis depart regularly from the main taxi stand in Gasa. The fare is approximately 300 Nu per person and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Thimphu, you can take a local taxi to reach Narphung, which is located in the Babesa area. The taxi ride will cost around 150 Nu and takes about 20 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the driver that you are going to the correct location at CMM2+J83.
