Getting There

Car
From any point in Lhuntse District, head towards the town of Lhuntse. Once there, take the Lhuntse to Bumthang road. Continue on this road for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction at Chumey. Take a left turn towards Bumthang and continue on this road for another 30 kilometers. After passing through the villages along the way, you will reach the Tang Valley. Look for signs leading to Dhur, as Tang Valley is located in that area. The exact location is at JMRG+PWM, Dhur. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some sections of the road may be rough.

Public Transportation
Start by taking a local bus from Lhuntse town to Bumthang. Buses usually depart in the morning, so it's advisable to check the schedule ahead of time. The journey may take around 6-8 hours depending on road conditions. Upon arriving in Bumthang, you will need to hire a taxi or a local shared vehicle to reach Tang Valley. Inform the driver to take you to JMRG+PWM, Dhur in Tang Valley. The taxi fare should be discussed prior, and it might cost around 1000-1500 Ngultrum for the trip from Bumthang to Tang Valley.
