Car
If you are traveling by car from Mongar town, head east on the National Highway 8. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction near the village of Chaskhar. Take the left turn towards the Bongbure area. Follow the road for about 3 kilometers until you see signposts indicating the direction to Bongbu re Waterfall. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area, and from there, it is a short hike of about 15 minutes to reach the waterfall.

Public Transportation
Take a local bus from Mongar town towards Chaskhar. Buses frequently operate on this route and the fare is usually around 50 Ngultrum. Once you reach Chaskhar, disembark at the main junction and seek a local taxi or ask for a ride to Bongbu re Waterfall. The taxi ride should cost approximately 300 Ngultrum. After reaching the drop-off point near Bongbure, you will need to hike for about 15 minutes to reach the waterfall.

For the adventurous, if you are already in the vicinity of Bongbu re Waterfall, you can hike directly to the site. There are various trails leading to the waterfall, but it is recommended to start from the main road at the Bongbure area. Follow the stream that leads to the waterfall, which will take about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace. Ensure you wear good hiking shoes and carry water as the terrain can be uneven.
