If you are driving, begin your journey from Mongar town. Head east on the main road (National Highway 5) towards Trashigang. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the junction for Trashiyangtse. Turn left onto Manla Road and continue for about 18 km until you arrive at Gongza Ney, which is located at FJ86+G7Q, Trashiyangtse.
Public Transportation
From Mongar, you can take a shared taxi or a bus heading towards Trashigang. After about 30 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Trashiyangtse. From there, you will need to hire a local taxi to take you the remaining 18 km along Manla Road to Gongza Ney. Taxi fares can range from 300 to 500 Ngultrum depending on negotiation.
