From the center of Mongar, head towards the main street (Drukgyel Highway). Walk along this road until you reach the junction that leads to the town of Bumthang and the road leading to Wangdue Nye. Look for signs indicating the direction to Bumthang, as Wangdue Nye is located towards that route. Continue walking along the Bumthang road for about 1.5 km until you see a small path on your right leading uphill. This path will take you to the Wangdue Nye area, which is situated on a hill overlooking the valley.
