Walking
From the center of Punakha, head towards the Punakha Dzong, which is a prominent landmark. As you approach the Dzong, take the road that leads away from the river. Continue walking straight until you reach the Tashichho Dzong road. Turn right and keep walking straight. You will see the Royal Textile Academy on your left side after approximately 10-15 minutes of walking.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Punakha Dzong. Head towards the main road and cycle along the riverbank for a scenic route. After about 1 km, take the road towards Tashichho Dzong. Continue cycling straight for about 1.5 km until you spot the Royal Textile Academy on your left. It’s a pleasant ride with beautiful views.
