    From the center of Punakha, head towards the Punakha Dzong. Walk along the main road until you reach the Dzong. Once at the Dzong, continue walking along the riverbank towards the west. You will come across a small footbridge that leads to the other side of the river. Cross the bridge and follow the path that meanders along the river, keeping the water to your right. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the path. Take the left path, which leads uphill. Continue on this path for about 15 minutes until you reach Taa-Dzong བལྟ་རྫོང་།. The museum should be visible from the path.
