Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Sarpang District. Head east on the main road toward the Bumthang - Ura Highway (FGX5+P2H). Follow the highway for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Taa-Dzong along the way. The journey takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions. There is parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Taa-Dzong using public transportation, you can take a bus from Sarpang District to Trongsa. Buses typically leave every hour from the main bus station. Make sure to confirm the schedule as it can vary. The journey to Trongsa takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Trongsa, you can take a taxi to Taa-Dzong, which is about 10 kilometers away and will cost you approximately 300-400 Nu (Bhutanese Ngultrum).
