Car
To reach the Black Mountains from Sarpang by car, start at the Sarpang town center. Head northeast on the main road (Phuentsholing-Sarpang Highway). Continue on this road for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the junction leading to the Black Mountains. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs towards Wangdue Phodrang. The drive will take about 1 hour, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. There are no tolls on this route.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Sarpang to Wangdue Phodrang. Buses leave regularly from the Sarpang bus terminal. Once you arrive in Wangdue Phodrang, you will need to hire a taxi or take a local shared taxi to reach the Black Mountains. The bus fare typically costs around 200 Ngultrum, and the taxi fare from Wangdue to the mountains may cost an additional 500 Ngultrum. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
