Car
From Sarpang, head north on the Sarpang-Phuentsholing Highway (NH 8). After approximately 30 km, take a left turn onto the road toward Phobjikha Valley. Continue driving for about 20 km, keeping an eye out for the signs indicating Phobjikha. The journey will take roughly 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some parts of the road can be steep and winding.
Public Bus
Catch a bus from the Sarpang bus terminal heading towards Wangdue Phodrang. The bus fare is approximately 200 BTN. The bus ride will take about 2-3 hours. Upon reaching Wangdue Phodrang, you will need to transfer to another bus or shared taxi heading to Phobjikha Valley. Shared taxis can cost around 300 BTN per person and take about 30 minutes to reach the valley.
Taxi
If you prefer a more comfortable and faster option, hire a taxi from Sarpang to Phobjikha Valley. The cost for this journey will be around 2500-3000 BTN, and it will take approximately 1.5 hours. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand and confirm the expected travel time with the driver.
