Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Thimphu city. Head east on Norzin Lam towards the Tashichho Dzong. Continue straight until you reach the traffic light at the junction with the Chhukha Highway. Turn left at this junction and follow the road for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs pointing towards Kuenselphodrang Nature Park. After turning onto Gaki Lam, follow the road uphill for about 1 kilometer until you reach the park entrance. There is parking available at the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Kuenselphodrang Nature Park using public transportation, take a local bus from the main bus terminal in Thimphu. Look for buses heading towards the Tashichho Dzong area. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Kuenselphodrang stop. The fare is typically around 15-20 Ngultrum. Once you get off, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer uphill on Gaki Lam to reach the park entrance.
Taxi
You can also hire a taxi from anywhere in Thimphu to Kuenselphodrang Nature Park. This is a convenient option if you prefer direct transport without the hassle of public transportation. The taxi fare should be around 300-500 Ngultrum depending on your starting point. Simply tell the driver 'Kuenselphodrang Nature Park' and they will take you directly to the entrance.
