Start from the center of Thimphu at Clock Tower Square. Head east on Norzin Lam and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to Paro. Look for the sign indicating the direction to Paro. Continue along this road, which will take you through beautiful landscapes. After about 30 minutes, you will reach the bus station in Thimphu. From there, take a local bus or shared taxi heading to Paro. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once in Paro, ask the driver to drop you off at the base of the Taktsang trail, which is well-marked. The trailhead is about 10 kilometers from the Paro town center. Hike up the trail, which usually takes around 2 to 3 hours to reach the Tiger's Nest Monastery.
