If you are driving, start from Trashigang town. Head east on the main road towards the eastern regions. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction near the village of Radhi. Take a right turn at the junction heading towards the Chenla area. After about 5 kilometers, you will arrive near the trailhead for Chenla Trail 1, which is located at coordinates 27.1064144, 91.7303779. There is limited parking available near the trailhead.

To reach Chenla Trail 1 via public transport, take a local bus or shared taxi from Trashigang to Radhi. The fare is usually around 100-150 Ngultrum per person. Upon reaching Radhi, ask the driver to drop you at the junction leading to Chenla. From there, you can either walk (about 5 kilometers) to the trailhead or find a local vehicle that can take you closer. Ensure to confirm the fare before getting into the local vehicle.
