If you are driving, start from Trashigang town and head east on the main highway (National Highway 2). Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Radi. Take the left turn towards Radi and follow the road, which will take you through beautiful scenic landscapes. After about 6 kilometers, you will arrive at a small junction; continue straight until you reach the village of Radi. From Radi, Thongphu Trashigang is another short drive of approximately 1.5 kilometers, where you will find the temple located at the coordinates 27.3200439, 91.6538132.
Public Transportation
To reach Thongphu Trashigang via public transport, you can take a bus or shared taxi from Trashigang town heading towards Radi. These services are available throughout the day. Once you reach Radi, you can either walk (about 1.5 kilometers) or hire a local taxi to take you to Thongphu Trashigang. The fare for the taxi from Radi to Thongphu is typically around 100-150 Ngultrum. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can take a walk from Radi to Thongphu Trashigang. After arriving in Radi from Trashigang, head east on the main road and follow the signs towards Thongphu.
