Car
Start your journey from Tsirang town. Drive north on the Tsirang-Wangdue Phodrang Highway (also known as Wangdue Phodrang - Trongsa Hwy). Follow this road for approximately 35 km until you reach the Trongsa Dzong View Point. The view point is located just off the main highway, and there will be signs indicating the viewpoint. There is no entrance fee to access the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
From Tsirang, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Trongsa. These generally leave from the main bus terminal in Tsirang. The journey may take around 1 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Trongsa Dzong View Point, and they will let you off at the nearest point. You may need to walk a short distance from the main road to reach the viewing area.
Walking
If you arrive at the Trongsa Dzong View Point by public transport, you may need to walk a few minutes from where the bus or taxi drops you off. Follow the signs towards the viewpoint, which is located along the Wangdue Phodrang - Trongsa Hwy. The walk is relatively easy and takes about 10-15 minutes.
