Getting There

Walking
From the center of Wangdue Phodrang, head towards the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, which is a prominent landmark in the area. Once you reach the Dzong, continue on the main road leading to the south, known as the Wangdue-Phodrang Highway. Follow this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Paro. As you approach Paro, look for signs directing you to Paro Airport. Follow these signs and continue straight until you reach the CC2C+R8C junction, where the Paro Airport Bird's Eye View Point is located. This walk will take approximately 5-6 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.

Public Transport
Start at the main bus station in Wangdue Phodrang. Look for a bus heading to Paro; these buses usually depart frequently throughout the day. The journey to Paro takes about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Paro, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can either take a local taxi or walk to the CC2C+R8C location. If you choose to walk, head towards the Paro Airport, and follow the signs to the Bird's Eye View Point. This last part should take around 30 minutes on foot.

Bicycle
If you are comfortable cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Wangdue Phodrang. From the town center, cycle towards the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, then proceed along the Wangdue-Phodrang Highway heading south. The ride to Paro is approximately 20 kilometers and will take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once in Paro, follow the road signs to Paro Airport, then navigate to the CC2C+R8C junction where the Bird's Eye View Point is located. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you have a helmet for safety.
